Michelle + Greg. It was love at first sight….for us, that is. We fell in love with these two right from the get-go, and we’ve been good friends ever since! Paul first met these two lovebirds back in June of 2017 backstage at a Deftones concert at Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, and everyone just hit it off immediately.
Michelle’s + Greg’s wedding at City View Loft in Chicago was just as warm, inviting, gorgeous and full of love and laughter as they are. We had an absolute blast every minute of their special day. Michelle and her girls got ready at her and Greg’s place near Logan Square, and the guys got ready at Greg’s Best Man Vince’s place not far away before heading over to The Revolution Taproom where we took some portraits between sips of some of Chicago’s finest craft beers.
Michelle finished getting ready at City View Loft moments before her and Greg’s emotional first look on the upstairs loft area. As per usual, we shed a few tears of our own…not gonna lie. Such a touching moment between two of the sweetest people you could ever hope to meet.
Michelle’s + Greg’s Ceremony at City View Loft was nothing short of pure magic; it was short, sweet, filled with laughs, tears, and overwhelming emotions at times. Michelle’s + Greg’s hand-written vows to one another brought joy and tears to the room…and to us as well. Watching these two as they made life-long promises to each other and make their marriage official will not be something we’ll ever forget. We fell in love with Michelle + Greg from the moment we met them and our friendship just grew and grew over the year between first meeting them and joining them, their friends and families at their City View Loft wedding.
After the ceremony…everyone let loose and it was an absolute blast! We took tons of great photos and then joined in on the fun as per Michelle’s + Greg’s request. They weren’t going to let us leave City View Loft without joining them for a drink and getting on the dance floor ourselves, and we were A-okay with that!
Michelle’s + Greg’s City View Loft wedding was the kind that wedding photographers always dream about. Their day was filled with wonderful people, great atmosphere, warm and welcoming friends and family members, great food, great music, and a friendship with the bride and groom that will last a lifetime.
